Training Membership is designed to give open access to professional practitioners to the resources they need, whilst still giving Dust Palace Charitable Trust the ability to say yes to hirers of Te Whare Maninirau.
HOW IT WORKS
TRAINING MEMBERSHIP @ Ellerslie Arts
For only $20 (incl. GST) per week Members have access and use of the space 24 hours a day, as long as no one has hired the space out.
Designed for professionals.
Members have demonstrated sufficient skill and knowledge in aerial circus arts to train at a professional level. Each member will be considered by the core, experienced Dust Palace team and we’ll chat with you should we require more or in-depth information on your practices.
24hr access to circus training.
Members get 24hr access to the training space via a private security code. Membership is paid in four week blocks starting on the following Monday. Codes change each eight weeks.
The calendar here has up to date information as the when the space is hired out and when its free. Before signing up, look forward in the calendar four weeks to check out the spaces’ availability and make sure it aligns with when you want to train.
Bring guests along.
Members may bring guest trainers to join them, acting as the acceptable party. Guest trainers pay $15 per session either online or onsite. Everyone onsite signs in using the i-pad on the wall.
It’s a community.
At any one time members will be sharing the building and facilities with hirers of the other spaces: Te Rūmaki / meeting room and Te Werawera / artist studios. Sharing the space with other members and the facilities, kīhini/kitchen etc is done with grace and kindness.
