Adult Classes Info

Our adult classes are suitable for all levels, if you’re just starting out or have years of experience.

Our team of tutors are all acrobats and circus professionals who are exceptional performers and incredibly passionate about what they do. With a range of tutors and classes, we have something to suit every discipline and personality. We also have monitored open training sessions where you can practice skills in your own time.

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

Beginner Mixed Aerial

This class is an introduction to all things aerial and is the perfect place to start your circus journey. Here you’ll learn fundamental skills, climbs, poses, and transitions on a variety of aerial equipment. The class covers aerial hoop, aerial silks, trapeze, and other equipment and is specifically designed to give you the best, most well rounded start while building your physical confidence in having heaps of fun!

Handbalance

A handbalance class which works to your level. Develop your skills and become comfortable in handstand shapes and positions. Build the strength and skill needed for hand stands and work towards presses and one armed skills. This class also works on arm balances, canes, and stacking chairs.

Active Flexibility

This is the ideal class if you want to level up your flexibility in your aerial, acro, dance or contortion practice. We practice carefully selected exercises which increase strength at end range. This sets you up with all the stability you’ll need to get further into those splits, master your backbend, and work towards other amazing contortion skills

Acrobatics and Tumbling

This class explores ground-based acrobatics, extending out from basic handstands, forwards and backwards rolls, cartwheels into more extensive tricks such as kip ups, handsprings, flick flacks and back tucks with spotting and mats.

Trio Dynamic (Toss)

Dynamic Trio, colloquially known as Toss or Toss-the-Girl, is the art of skill-fully throwing and flipping between three or more people. Two bases swing a flier between them, using the momentum to execute amazing tricks and skills. Dynamic trio is exciting, hard physical work and very fun.

Muscle and Bone: Dance and Groundwork

M and B is a way for circus artists to extend their capacity in ground movement as we travel down the room completing simple yet physically challenging movements, the class is like a travelator of dance. The class progresses from simple movements by adding complexity and movement quality to what has already been learned. In M&B you will get fit, strong, and learn rhythm and musicality along the way!

Tissu
Grade 3-4

Our Tissu or Aerial Silk grade 3-4 class takes the fundamentals that you learned in aerial 1 & 2 to the next level on silks. Further develop your technique, strength, flexibility and vocabulary in the air. 

Straps
Grade 3+

Aerial straps are one of the toughest (and coolest) aerial apparatus. This is an intermediate class for people who have previous experience in aerial disciplines. It is a prerequisite that you have passed our grade 2 aerial module to join this class.

Rope
Grade 3+

Corde Lisse or Aerial Rope is a dynamic and physically demanding apparatus. This is an intermediate/advanced class for people who have previous experience in aerial disciplines. It is a prerequisite that you have passed our grade 2 aerial silk module to join this class.

Bars Grade 3+

A higher grades bar class on hoop and trapeze working to your level on your apparatus of choice.

Duo Trapeze
Grade 3+

Duo trapeze or doubles trapeze is the next level of fun in the circus! This dynamic class is suitable for those who have passed our aerial 1 & 2 module and you must come with a partner. It takes two to duo!

Tissu
Grade 5+

Our Tissu grade 5+ class is our most advanced aerial silk class. During this class you will continue to develop strong technique and work towards more dynamic movement and aerial dance. The class is more student led in terms of curriculum so that students have a chance to find their own unique style. 

Gentle Circus

A low intensity, slow intro to circus. Ideal for folks who are returning to movement after a long absence, recovering bodies or those with neurological or physical challenges that make higher intensity, longer classes or busier environments difficult.

Mixed Aerial
Grade 3+

A higher grade mixed aerial class with a strong focus on vocab choreography and conditioning.

Partner Acrobalance 

Partner Acrobalance teaches the fundamental concepts and techniques of balancing people on people. Also called Adagio, Acro or Balance Acro, it's an incredible discipline for core balance, strength, body awareness and partner work.

3x Classes per week: $450 per term
4x Classes per week: $504 per term
Casual/Drop-In rate: $37.50

OPEN TRAINING

$20 per session
$100 for 6 sessions
