IN DEVELOPMENT

SHE LOVES ME

In the midst of a smokey jazz club, like an old black and white movie, a tryptic of romantic leads all vie for the affection of the lady. With a modern Tom Waits-ian score re-worked as a Cole Porter-esque musical, the narrative is driven partly in piano accompanied song and partly by stylish cirque acts. Terrifying chair balance, exhilarating toss-the-girl, Apache dance, contortion, object manipulation and acrobatics will highlight and visually describe the key plot points of this intricate and subtle series of love affairs.

SHE LOVES ME will be a purely ground based cirque theatre show combining live music and new-cirque acts. Directed by John Bolton the ninety minute show will have a highly skilled cast of four and involve acrobatics, object manipulation, chair balance, hand-balance contortion, adagio and toss-the-girl.

Orpheus
