Nisha Madhan, most recognizable from her two year role on Shortland Street, is a producer and performer of Shakespeare and deviser of modern prose. She tutors and runs workshops in Shakespeare, most recently for Auckland Theatre Company.

Her company Phundmi Productions has mounted a number of classic and modern works and is currently creating a large scale verison of The House Of Bernarda Alba. Other theatre credits include: Cymbeline, Pinocchio, King Lear, Is - an existential musical comedy and And Then You Die.
