Campbell Farquhar is a filmmaker, performer and part-time philosopher who looks good in heels. His abstract and experimental films explore movement, dance, love and sex. Performance combines with video projections, mismatched frame-rates, broken film projectors, pinhole photography and tangled lengths of motion film to create images and stories of broken beauty.
Campbell's films have screened at festivals and galleries worldwide. “Salt” was awarded “Best Experimental Film” at the Cinekink Festival, New York, and “Most Innovative Short Film” at the Seattle Lesbian and Gay Film Festival.
